Champakali is puffy texture, light weighted and soft to bite.

Ingredients

  • 1-liter whole cow milk
  • 50 grams khoya/mava
  • 1 ¾ cup sugar for syrup
  • 1 ½ tsp fine semolina (sooji)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp cardamom seeds
  • 2 ½ tbsp white vinegar
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 slitted cherries
  • Few saffron strands
